According to the present invention, a method for determining a course and speed using a wake of a ship comprises: a first step of extracting ROI data from satellite data; a second step of extracting and displaying a wake component line from the ROI data; a third step of displaying an azimuth line on the second step data; a fourth step of obtaining a speed component in a range direction from the third step data; and a fifth step of obtaining the speed of a target ship from the fourth step data. According to the present invention, the speed of the target ship can be estimated by extracting the wake component line of the target ship in the region of interest using the satellite data.

    본 발명에 따른 선박항적을 이용한 침로와 속도 판단방법은, 인공위성 데이터로부터 관심영역 데이터를 추출하는 1단계;상기 관심영역 데이터로부터 후류 성분 선을 추출하고 표시하는 2단계;상기 2단계 데이터에 애지머스(Azimuth) 선을 표시하는 3단계;상기 3단계 데이터에서 레인지(range)방향의 속도성분을 구하는 4단계;및 상기 4단계 데이터에서 타겟선박의 속도를 구하는 5단계;를 포함하는 점에 그 특징이 있다. 본 발명에 따르면, 인공위성 데이터를 이용하여 관심영역의 타겟선박의 후류 성분 선을 추출하여 타겟 선박의 속도를 추정할 수 있다.
