The present invention relates to a vehicle control system for detecting an object and a method therefor. The vehicle control system of the present invention may comprise a control unit detecting the object of the vehicle exterior, calculating an angle based on a ratio of a relative speed between the object and a vehicle and a speed of the vehicle, and set to update a phase curve reflecting phase distortion of an input signal based on the calculated angle. According to the present invention, the object around the vehicle can be sensed more accurately.

    차량 제어 시스템은 차량 외부의 객체를 감지하고, 상기 객체와 상기 차량 간 상대 속도 및 상기 차량의 속도의 비율에 기반하여 각도를 산출하고, 및 상기 산출된 각도에 기반하여 입력 신호의 위상 왜곡이 반영된 위상 곡선을 업데이트 하도록 설정된 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
