The present invention provides an electric moving vehicle braking system capable of performing safe braking by measuring a distance to an obstacle, and an electric moving vehicle braking method using the same. According to the present invention, the electric moving vehicle braking system may comprise: a speed measurement unit for measuring a rotational speed of a drive unit outputting a driving force for moving the electric moving vehicle or a moving speed of the electric moving vehicle; an inertia measurement unit for measuring the slope of the ground or road on which the electric moving vehicle is moving, or the acceleration of the electric moving vehicle; a distance measurement unit provided on the electric moving vehicle to measure a distance between the electric moving vehicle and an obstacle; and a control unit controlling a moving state or moving speed of the electric moving vehicle using values measured by the speed measurement unit, the inertia measurement unit, and the distance measurement unit.

    본 발명에 따른 전동 이동체 제동 시스템은, 전동 이동체를 움직이게 하는 구동력을 출력하는 구동부의 회전 속도 또는 상기 전동 이동체의 이동 속도를 측정하는 속도 측정부; 상기 전동 이동체가 이동하는 지면이나 도로의 경사 또는 상기 전동 이동체의 가속도를 측정하는 관성 측정부; 상기 전동 이동체에 마련되어 상기 전동 이동체와 장애물 사이의 거리를 측정하는 거리 측정부; 및 상기 속도 측정부, 상기 관성 측정부 및 상기 거리 측정부에서 측정된 값을 이용하여 전동 이동체의 이동 상태 또는 이동 속도를 제어하는 제어부;를 포함할 수 있다.
