The present invention relates to a vehicle power generating apparatus using a thermoelectric element. According to the present invention, since the thermoelectric element is installed in an exhaust system inside a vehicle, an electric energy generated by the thermoelectric element according to a temperature difference between an exhaust gas and an outside air may be stored in a vehicle's battery. The vehicle power generating apparatus using the thermoelectric element of the present invention comprises: the thermoelectric element; and a transmission unit.
