The present invention relates to a vehicle driving system and method for escaping and avoiding a blind spot of a large vehicle, wherein the vehicle driving system comprises: a vehicle moving sensor which detects movement of a host vehicle and outputs the detection result as first sensing information; an object detecting sensor which detects an object existing in a surrounding of the host vehicle and outputs the detection result as second sensing information; and a vehicle control system which estimates a blind spot of a large vehicle when the large vehicle is detected adjacent to the host vehicle based on the first sensing information and the second sensing information, generates a path to escape or avoid the estimated blind spot, and then outputs the generated path as vehicle driving control information. The vehicle driving system secures safety of the host vehicle from the large vehicle.

    본 발명은 대형차량의 사각지대 이탈 및 회피를 위한 차량 주행 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 자차량의 이동을 감지하여 감지 결과를 제 1 센싱 정보로서 출력하는 차량 이동 센서, 상기 자차량의 주변에 존재하는 오브젝트를 감지하여 감지 결과를 제 2 센싱 정보로서 출력하는 오브젝트 감지 센서 및 상기 제 1 및 제 2 센싱 정보에 기초하여 상기 자차량의 주변에 대형차량이 감지되면 상기 대형차량의 사각지대를 추정하고, 추정된 상기 사각지대를 이탈 또는 회피할 수 있는 경로를 생성하여 차량 주행 제어 정보로서 출력하는 차량 제어 시스템을 포함할 수 있다.
