According to the present invention, disclosed is a method for setting an avoidance area of an unmanned aerial vehicle for monitoring transmission and distribution facilities. The method for setting an avoidance area of an unmanned aerial vehicle for monitoring transmission and distribution facilities of the present invention comprises the steps of: collecting, by a facility information collection unit, specification information of a transmission tower and a line; modeling, by a 3D modeling unit, a shape on the basis of the specification information of the transmission tower and the line collected from the facility information collection unit; calculating, by an avoidance area calculation unit, an electromagnetic wave avoidance area by the transmission tower and the line from the shape modeled by the 3D modeling unit; simulating, by a flight stability simulation unit, the electromagnetic wave avoidance area calculated by the avoidance area calculation unit, and the stability of automatic flight according to a flight plan of the unmanned aerial vehicle; and visualizing, by an avoidance area visualization unit, the electromagnetic wave avoidance area in a ground control system (GCS) according to a stability result of the flight stability simulation unit and providing the same to a GCS unit. An operation status of an unmanned aerial vehicle is monitored, and an automatic driving is supported.
