Disclosed is a method of controlling a cooling system for an autonomous driving controller. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a cooling system for an autonomous driving controller includes: a chiller connected through a refrigerant connection line with an air conditioner including a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve, and an evaporator, which are connected with each other through a refrigerant line; a reservoir tank storing coolant and connected to the chiller through a coolant pipe; a water pump provided on the coolant pipe between the chiller and the reservoir tank; a sub expansion valve provided on the refrigerant connection line so as to selectively expand a refrigerant supplied to the refrigerant connection line; and an autonomous driving controller connected through the coolant pipe between the water pump and the chiller. In regard to the cooling system for an autonomous driving controller, which is controlled by a control part, the method of controlling a cooling system for an autonomous driving controller for controlling the temperature of the autonomous driving controller includes: a step in which the control part senses the temperature of the autonomous driving controller during the driving of a vehicle; a step in which the control part determines whether the current temperature of the autonomous driving controller is lower than a target temperature; and a step in which the control part terminates the control operation when a condition is satisfied in the step of determining whether the current temperature of the autonomous driving controller is lower than the target temperature.

    자율주행 제어기용 냉각 시스템 제어방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 자율주행 제어기용 냉각 시스템 제어방법은 냉매라인으로 상호 연결된 압축기, 컨덴서, 팽창밸브, 및 증발기를 포함하는 공조 장치와 냉매 연결라인을 통해 연결되는 칠러, 냉각수가 저장되며 상기 칠러와 냉각수 배관을 통해 연결되는 리저버 탱크, 상기 리저버 탱크와 상기 칠러의 사이에서 상기 냉각수 배관에 구비되는 워터펌프, 상기 냉매 연결라인으로 공급된 냉매를 선택적으로 팽창시키도록 상기 냉매 연결라인에 구비되는 서브 팽창밸브, 및 상기 워터펌프와 상기 칠러의 사이에서 상기 냉각수 배관을 통해 연결되는 자율주행 제어기를 포함하며, 제어부에 의해 제어되는 자율주행 제어기용 냉각 시스템에서, 상기 자율주행 제어기의 온도를 조절하기 위한 자율주행 제어기용 냉각 시스템 제어방법에 있어서, 차량의 주행 시에 상기 제어부가 상기 자율주행 제어기의 온도를 감지하는 단계; 상기 제어부가 상기 자율주행 제어기의 현재온도가 목표온도 보다 낮은지를 판단하는 단계; 및 상기 자율주행 제어기의 현재온도가 목표온도 보다 낮은지를 판단하는 단계에서, 조건을 만족하면, 제어를 종료하는 단계; 를 포함한다.
