According to a battery pack device for hierarchically managing a charge balance of the present invention, the battery pack device includes: the M number of battery modules having the N number of battery cells, wherein M is greater than or equal to 1 and N is greater than or equal to 2; the M number of sub management modules connected to the N number of battery cells provided in the battery module to measure voltage values for the N number of battery cells; and a main management module connected to at least one of the positive/negative pack power terminals for charging or discharging the battery pack to check a charging state of the battery pack or a state after charging through the pack power terminal, and connected to the M number of sub management modules to collect the (M*N) number of voltage values for the battery cells to use the (M*N) number of voltage values for the battery cells collected in the charging state or after charging state of the battery pack to manage the (M*N) number of voltage balance states for the battery cells.

    본 발명의 계층적으로 충전 밸런스를 관리하는 배터리팩 장치에 따르면, 배터리팩(Battery Back) 장치에 있어서, N(N≥2)개의 배터리셀(Battery Cell)을 구비한 M(M≥1)개의 배터리모듈(Battery Module)과 배터리모듈에 구비된 N개의 배터리셀에 연결되어 N개의 배터리셀 별 전압값을 측정하는 M개의 서브 관리모듈 및 배터리팩의 충전이나 방전을 위한 +/- 팩 전원 단자 중 적어도 하나의 전원 단자와 연결되며 상기 팩 전원 단자를 통해 배터리팩의 충전 중 상태 또는 충전 후 상태를 확인하고 상기 M개의 서브 관리모듈과 통신 연결되어 (M*N)개의 배터리셀 별 전압값을 수집하며 상기 배터리팩의 충전 중 상태 또는 충전 후 상태에서 상기 수집된 (M*N)개의 배터리셀 별 전압값을 이용하여 (M*N)개의 배터리셀 별 전압 밸런스 상태를 관리하는 메인 관리모듈을 포함한다.
