According to the present invention, a method of regenerating a battery module by using a charging balance test based on a battery specification, which is performed through a battery regeneration device for regenerating a vehicle waste battery recovered after being used in an eco-friendly vehicle, includes: preparing a battery module of a waste battery including N battery cells (N >= 2); performing a procedure of charging the battery module to a full charging voltage according to a specification through a module connection terminal connected to a power terminal of the battery module; checking, when charging the battery module, balance information including charging voltage differences among the N battery cells provided in the battery module through a cell connection terminal connected to a cell terminal of the battery module; performing a balance test for determining whether the charging voltage differences among the N battery cells included in the balance information match a preset charging voltage effective balance range; discharging the charged battery module to a fully discharged voltage according to the specification while maintaining a state in which the charging voltage differences among the N battery cells match the preset charging voltage effective balance range; and charging and regenerating the N battery cells included in the battery module discharged to the fully discharged voltage according to the specification to a rated voltage according to the specification. Accordingly, a regenerated battery capable of guaranteeing safety of the battery against a risk of fire or explosion for a predetermined period of time or longer is provided.

    본 발명의 배터리 스펙 기반 층전 밸런스 검사를 이용한 배터리모듈 재생 방법에 따르면, 친환경 차량에 사용되다가 회수된 차량용 폐배터리를 재생하는 배터리 재생장치를 통해 실행되는 방법에 있어서, N(N≥2)개의 배터리셀을 포함하는 폐배터리의 배터리모듈을 준비하고, 상기 배터리모듈의 전원 단자와 연결되는 모듈 연결 단자를 통해 상기 배터리모듈을 스펙 상 완전 충전 전압까지 충전하는 절차를 수행하고, 상기 배터리모듈을 충전 시, 상기 배터리모듈의 셀 단자와 연결되는 셀 연결 단자를 통해 상기 배터리모듈에 구비된 N개의 배터리셀 간 충전 전압 차이를 포함하는 밸런스 정보를 확인하고, 상기 밸런스 정보에 포함된 N개의 배터리셀 간 충전 전압 차이가 기 설정된 충전 전압 유효 밸런스 범위에 매칭되는지 판단하는 밸런스 검사를 수행하고, 상기 N개의 배터리셀 간 충전 전압 차이가 기 설정된 충전 전압 유효 밸런스 범위에 매칭된 상태를 유지하면서 충전된 배터리모듈을 스펙 상 완전 방전 전압까지 방전하며, 상기 스펙 상 완전 방전 전압까지 방전된 배터리모듈에 포함된 N개의 배터리셀을 스펙 상 정격 전압까지 충전하여 재생한다.
