The present invention relates to a control method of a mild hybrid vehicle and a control apparatus thereof. The control method of the mild hybrid vehicle included in the present invention comprises the following steps of: determining whether an SCC mode is set based on a signal input through a driver interface; determining whether an SSC entry condition is satisfied when the SCC mode is set; turning off an engine by blocking fuel supply when entering the SSC mode by satisfying the SSC entry condition; distance monitoring, determining an increase or decrease in a distance to a vehicle in front based on a forward distance signal transmitted from a sensing unit; and increasing or decreasing a vehicle speed by controlling the engine, an MHSG or an ESC based on the monitoring. An object of the present invention is to provide the method and the apparatus for controlling the MHSG and the engine based on the distance to the vehicle in front.

    본 발명의 포함하는 마일드 하이브리드 차량의 제어 방법은, 운전자 인터페이스를 통해 입력되는 신호에 기초하여 SCC 모드의 설정 여부를 판단하는 단계; 상기 SCC 모드가 설정되면 SSC 진입조건을 만족하는지 판단하는 단계; 상기 SSC 진입조건을 만족하여 SSC 모드에 진입하면 연료 공급을 차단하여 엔진을 오프시키는 단계; 상기 감지부로부터 전달된 전방거리 신호에 기초하여 전방차량과의 거리 증가 또는 감소를 판단하는 거리 모니터링 단계; 및 상기 모니터링에 기초하여 상기 엔진, MHSG 또는 ESC를 제어하여 차속을 증가 또는 감소시키는 단계를 포함한다.
