The present invention provides a vehicle radar system and a method of estimating a ghost target of the same, which include: a transceiver module for emitting a frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) signal and receiving a plurality of reflected signals which are reflected from multiple targets and returned to an FMCW signal; and a signal processing module for estimating a ghost target according to a bit frequency included in each of the plurality of target information extracted by signal processing the plurality of reflected signals and tracking the target. Accordingly, it is possible to estimate the ghost target among multiple targets without increasing the number of FMCW signals, that is, chirp signals.
