The present invention discloses a power compensator for electric railway including: a command value output module (110); an M-phase compensation area classification module (120); a T-phase compensation area classification module (130); a compensation map setting module (140); a control command value calculation module (150); an M-phase inverter control module (160) for controlling an M-phase inverter (180); and a T-phase inverter control module (170) for controlling a T-phase inverter (190), so as to increase the effective and reactive power control efficiency, respond quickly to load changes due to changes in the electric rail system, and resolve the voltage imbalance between the general power grid and the railway power grid, thereby solving the lifespan shortcut, function deterioration and efficiency decrease of power system facilities related to high-speed electric railway.
본 발명은, 지령값 출력모듈(110)과, M상 보상영역 구분모듈(120)과, T상 보상영역 구분모듈(130)과, 보상맵 설정모듈(140)과, 제어지령값 산출모듈(150)과, M상 인버터(180)를 제어하는 M상 인버터 제어모듈(160)과, T상 인버터(190)를 제어하는 T상 인버터 제어모듈(170)로 구성되어, 유효 및 무효전력 제어 효율성을 높이며, 전기철도 시스템의 변화에 따른 부하변동에 신속하게 반응하도록 하고, 일반 전력망과 철도 전력망 사이의 전압 불균형을 해소하여 고속전기철도 관련 전력계통 시설물의 수명단축과 기능저하와 효율감소를 해결할 수 있는, 전기철도용 전력보상장치를 개시한다.
