PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power compensator for a railway, capable of suppressing a voltage fluctuation.SOLUTION: A power compensator for a railway, includes: two single phase conversion devices; a power detection part; a voltage detection part; and a power control part. The two single phase conversion device are connected to a single phase side of the conversion device that converts a three-phase power to two single phase circuits of M-seat and T-seat, and are connected to each of the M-seat and T-seat. The power detection part detects an effective power and an effective current of each of the two single phase conversion devices. A difference effective power compensation part refers to a detection result of the power detection part, multiples 1/2 to the difference of the effective power obtained by the M-seat and T-seat, and compensates the effective power of the M-seat. The voltage detection part detects a voltage in each of the two single phase conversion devices. The power control part outputs a reactive power from the two single phase conversion devices on the basis of a difference of a voltage command value in each of the two single phase conversion devices and the voltage detection value detected by the voltage detection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】電圧変動を抑制できる鉄道用電力補償装置を提供することである。【解決手段】実施形態の鉄道用電力補償装置は、二つの単相変換器と、電力検出部と、電圧検出部と、電力制御部と、を持つ。二つの単相変換器は、三相電力をM座とT座との二つの単相回路に変換する変圧器の単相側に接続され、前記M座と前記T座とのそれぞれに接続される。電力検出部は、二つの単相変換器のそれぞれの有効電力または有効電流を検出する。差分有効電力補償部は、前記電力検出部の検出結果を参照し、前記M座と前記T座とのそれぞれから得られる有効電力の差分に1/2を乗算して前記M座の有効電力を補償する。電圧検出部は、前記二つの単相変換器ごとの電圧を検出する。電力制御部は、前記二つの単相変換器ごとの電圧指令値と、前記電圧検出部により検出された電圧検出値との差分に基づいて、前記二つの単相変換器から無効電力を出力させる。【選択図】図1
