The present invention relates to a method and a device for synchronizing a sensor for autonomous driving sensor fusion. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method estimates time delay of various sensors used for an autonomous vehicle and performs a synchronization process compensating the estimated time delay, thereby improving technical robustness and precision of vehicle position estimation and peripheral environment recognition of the autonomous driving vehicle.

    본 발명은 자율주행 센서 융합을 위한 센서 동기화 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 자율주행 센서 융합을 위한 센서 동기화 방법은 자율주행 차량에 사용되는 다양한 센서의 시간 지연을 추정하고 상기 추정된 시간 지연을 보상한 동기화 과정을 수행함으로써, 자율주행 차량의 주변 환경 인식과 자차량 위치 추정의 기술 강건성과 정밀성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
