Disclosed are a regenerative braking control apparatus for an electric vehicle and a method thereof. The regenerative braking control apparatus for an electric vehicle includes: an electric brake booster delivering pressure applied to a brake pedal by a master cylinder through a push rod moved forward or backward in accordance with the pressure of the brake pedal to form oil pressure for vehicle braking through the master cylinder; an oil pressure controller separately controlling oil pressure of a first race flow path and oil pressure of a second race flow path formed by the master cylinder; and a control part performing regenerative braking by controlling the oil pressure of the first race flow path and the oil pressure of the second race flow path differently from each other through at least one of the oil pressure controller and the electric brake booster. Therefore, the present invention is capable of maximizing regenerative energy by controlling oil pressure.

    전기자동차의 회생제동 제어 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 전기자동차의 회생제동 제어 장치는 브레이크 페달의 압력에 따라 전방 또는 후방으로 이동하는 푸시로드를 통해 브레이크 페달에 가해지는 압력을 마스터 실린더에 전달하여 마스터 실린더를 통해 차량 제동을 위한 유압을 형성하는 전동식 브레이크 부스터; 마스터 실린더에 의해 형성된 제1 륜 유로의 유압과 제2 륜 유로의 유압을 각각 제어하는 유압 제어기; 및 회생제동시 제1 륜 유로의 유압과 제2 륜 유로의 유압을 유압 제어기와 전동식 브레이크 부스터 중 적어도 하나를 통해 서로 다르게 제어하여 회생제동을 수행하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
