The present invention relates to a method of predicting a collision risk according to a behavior of a pedestrian adjacent to a vehicle in motion and controlling the vehicle to prevent collision. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a vehicle control method comprises the steps of: identifying a pedestrian adjacent to a driving road of a vehicle; determining a first recognition value of the pedestrian with respect to the vehicle based on behavioral characteristics of the pedestrian; outputting a warning signal based on the first recognition value; determining a second recognition value of the pedestrian after the warning signal is output; and controlling the vehicle based on the second recognition value.

    본 발명은 주행 중인 차량에 인접한 보행자의 행동에 따라 충돌 위험을 예측하고, 충돌 방지를 위해 차량을 제어하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 차량 제어 방법은 차량의 주행 도로에 인접한 보행자를 식별하는 단계, 상기 보행자의 행동특성에 기초하여 상기 차량에 대한 상기 보행자의 제1 인지값을 결정하는 단계, 상기 제1 인지값에 기초하여 경고 신호를 출력하는 단계, 상기 경고 신호가 출력된 이후 상기 보행자의 제2 인지값을 결정하는 단계 및 상기 제2 인지값에 기초하여 상기 차량을 제어하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
