Provided is a water quality measurement system of ship ballast water, which measures the water quality of the ballast water operated for balancing a ship and improving safety and operating performance or the like. That is, according to the present invention, the water quality measurement system of the ship ballast water comprises: a sensor room (10) installed in a ship to be isolated from an outer environment and to include an air conditioner (12) for controlling the temperature and humidity and a ballast water distribution line (100); a first sensing unit (20) which includes a water collection chamber (22) formed in the sensor room (100) to be connected to the ballast water distribution line (100) and to contain the ballast water inside, and an electric total residual oxidant (TRO) sensor engaged with the water collection chamber (22) to detect water factors including the TRO concentration of the ballast water; and a control unit (40) which displays one of the values of water factors detected by the first sensing unit and the second sensing unit (20, 30) as an effective detection value, and when the main sensing unit is out of order, converts and outputs one of the values measured by the first sensing unit and the second sensing unit (20, 30) as an effective detection value. The present invention has merits, if a user uses the water quality measurement system of the ship ballast water, to safely protect and manage the TRO sensing unit from the poor environment in the ship, to in real time determine whether the sensing units are out of order or not, and to rapidly convert into the normal sensing unit, thereby navigating the ship.

    본 발명은 선박의 균형, 안전성 및 조종 성능 향상 등을 위해 운용되는 평형수의 수질을 측정하는 선박 평형수의 수질 측정 시스템을 제공코자 하는 것이다. 즉, 본 발명은 선박 내에 설치되고, 외부환경으로부터 격리되어 온도, 습도 제어를 위한 공기 조화기(12)와 평형수 분배라인(100)이 구비되는 센서룸(10); 상기 센서룸(10) 내에서 평형수 분배라인(100)에 연결되어 내부에 평형수를 담기 위한 집수챔버(22)와, 이 집수챔버(22)에 결합되어 평형수의 총 잔류 산화물질(TRO, total residual oxidant) 농도를 포함하는 수질인자를 검출하는 일렉트릭(electric) TRO 센서를 포함하는 제 1센싱부(20); 상기 제 1, 2센싱부(20)(30)에 의해 검출되는 수질인자의 값 중 어느 하나를 유효 검출 값으로 디스플레이하고, 주 센싱부 고장 시 상기 제 1, 2센싱부(20)(30)에서 측정된 값 중 하나를 유효 검출 값으로 전환 출력하도록 구비되는 제어부(40);를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다. 상기 선박 평형수의 수질 측정 시스템을 이용하면, 선박 내 열악한 환경으로부터 TRO 센싱부를 안전하게 보호 관리하면서 센싱부 고장 유무를 실시간으로 판단하여 정상 센싱부로 신속하게 전환하여 운항할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
