A water PV generation system, which has better power generation efficiency than a solar power generation system installed on land, has the advantage of securing a large site and installing PV generation facilities without containing environmental problems such as forest destruction when used on an idle surface of the water. However, an existing water PV generation system has the disadvantage of increasing the amount of power generated by simultaneously considering the vertical movement according to a change in water depth in addition to the movement according to the movement of the sun. The present invention suggests the water gimbal PV generation system adding a gimbal designed to be leveled using the characteristic of a gyroscope, which always tries to maintain a certain direction, to a water gimbal PV generation system enabling the maximum power generation of the PV power generation system such as the movement of a structure according to the amount of power generated by the movement of the sun and a change in water depth, and PV tracking according to the movement of the sun.

    육상에 설치하는 태양광발전시스템보다 발전효율이 좋은 수상태양광발전시스템은 유휴 수면에 사용할 경우 넓은 부지 확보와 산림파괴와 같은 환경문제 등을 수반하지 않고도 태양광발전 시설을 설치할 수 있다는 장점이 있으나 기존 수상형 PV발전시스템은 태양의 이동에 따른 움직임 외에 수심변화에 따른 상하 움직임을 동시에 고려한 발전량 증가를 해야 하는 단점이 있다. 본 작품은 수상형 GIMBAL PV발전시스템으로 태양의 이동에 따른 발전량 및 수심변화에 따른 구조체 움직임, 태양이동에 따른 PV추적 등 PV발전시스템의 최대발전을 할 수 있도록 PV발전시스템에 항상 일정 방향을 유지하려하는 자이로스코프의 특성을 이용해 수평을 유지 할 수 있도록 고안된 짐벌(Gimbal)을 합한 수상형 GIMBAL PV발전 시스템을 제안한다.
