Disclosed is a cooling device for a battery module for an electric vehicle. The cooling device for the battery module for the electric vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention is used for a plurality of battery modules obtained by assembling a plurality of battery cells and installed in a battery case of a vehicle body for the electric vehicle. The cooling device includes: a battery housing having a box shape forming a battery receiving portion, and forming a cooling water intake chamber and a cooling water discharge chamber divided by a partition along an inner side, in which a cooling water inlet is formed at one side of the cooling water intake chamber, and a cooling water outlet is formed at one side of the cooling water discharge chamber; and a plurality of cooling tubes that surround a plurality of battery cells while being spaced apart from each other by a predetermined interval in the battery receiving portion of the battery housing, in which one end of each cooling tube is connected to the cooling water intake chamber, the other end of each cooling tube is connected to the cooling water discharge chamber, and a cooling water line is formed inside the cooling tube to receive cooling water from the cooling water intake chamber and discharge the cooling water to the cooling water discharge chamber.
전기자동차용 배터리 모듈의 냉각장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 전기자동차용 배터리 모듈의 냉각장치는 다수의 배터리 셀을 조립하여 전기자동차용 차체의 배터리 케이스에 설치되는 복수개의 배터리 모듈에 있어서, 배터리 수용부를 형성하는 박스형상으로 이루어지며, 측면의 내부를 따라 격벽으로 구획되는 냉각수 흡입챔버와 냉각수 배출챔버를 형성하며, 상기 냉각수 흡입챔버의 일측에 냉각수 흡입구가 형성되고, 상기 냉각수 배출챔버의 일측에 냉각수 토출구가 형성되는 배터리 하우징, 및 상기 배터리 하우징의 수용부에서 일방향으로 일정간격 이격되어 상기 다수개의 배터리 셀을 각각 감싸면서 복수개가 배치되며, 각 일단이 상기 냉각수 흡입챔버 측에 연결되고, 각 타단이 상기 냉각수 배출챔버 측에 연결되며, 내부에는 상기 냉각수 흡입챔버로부터 냉각수를 공급받아 상기 냉각수 배출챔버로 배출하는 냉각수 라인이 형성되는 냉각튜브를 포함한다.
