The present invention relates to a vehicle temperature control apparatus and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the vehicle temperature control apparatus comprises: a solar panel detachable from the front glass of a vehicle, and generating electric energy; a battery storing the electric energy output from the solar panel; a cooler operated by receiving driving power from the battery; a temperature sensor measuring an indoor temperature of the vehicle; and a control part operating the cooler to adjust the indoor temperature of the vehicle when the indoor temperature of the vehicle exceeds a predetermined set temperature in a state in which the vehicle is turned off.

    본 발명은 차량 온도 조절 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 차량 온도 조절 장치는 차량의 앞 유리에 탈착 가능하며 전기 에너지를 생산하는 태양전지판, 상기 태양전지판으로부터 출력되는 전기 에너지를 저장하는 배터리, 상기 배터리로부터 구동 전력을 공급받아 작동하는 냉방기, 상기 차량의 실내 온도를 측정하는 온도센서, 및 상기 차량의 시동이 꺼진 상태에서 상기 차량의 실내 온도가 기설정된 설정 온도를 초과하면 상기 냉방기를 작동시켜 상기 차량의 실내 온도를 조절하는 제어부를 포함한다.
