The present invention relates to a speed-sensitive train collision avoidance system and a method thereof. According to the present invention, provided are a speed-sensitive train collision avoidance system and a method thereof which may prevent a collision of a train by changing the direction of a laser sensor module for detecting an object in front of the train, wherein the laser sensor module is installed on a train, according to the running speed and direction of the train to perform a pre-warning notification when an object is detected in the front so that an engineer can take action based on a distance, and to automatically perform emergency braking within a distance capable of avoiding a collision.

    본 발명은 속도 감응형 열차 충돌 방지 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로; 열차의 주행속도 및 진행방향에 따라 열차에 설치되어 열차 전방의 물체를 감지하는 레이저 센서 모듈의 방향을 전환하여 전방에 물체가 감지시 그 거리에 따라 기관사가 조치할 수 있도록 사전경고알림을 수행하고 충돌을 피할 수 있는 거리 내에서 자동으로 비상제동이 이루어지도록 하여 열차의 충돌 사고를 방지할 수 있는 속도 감응형 열차 충돌 방지 시스템 및 방법을 제공한다.
