The present invention relates to a bus safety driving support system capable of quickly handling an accident and preventing an additional accident by enabling a driver terminal installed in public transportation (for example, a bus) to transmit relevant information (accident information and images) to a control center and a driver terminal of another bus on the same route when the bus is malfunctioning or in a dangerous situation or an accident occurs. The bus safety driving support system includes: a vehicle driving record part installed on a bus to store vehicle driving information; an image recording device storing an image of the front side of the bus obtained through a camera; a front collision warning part determining the risk of a front collision based on the vehicle driving information of the vehicle driving record part and the image information of the front side of the bus photographed through the camera, and generating a collision warning signal if the situation is determined as a front collision risk situation; and a driver terminal obtaining the vehicle information and determining whether an accident occurs through analysis on the obtained vehicle information, and then, transmitting accident information to a driver terminal of another bus on the same route and a control center if the situation is determined as an accident.

    대중교통(예를 들어, 버스)에 구비된 운전자 단말기에서 운행중인 버스가 고장이나 위험상황, 사고 발생시 동일 노선의 다른 버스 운전자단말기 및 관제센터에 관련 정보(사고 정보, 사고 영상)를 전송하여 신속하게 사고 수습 및 추가 사고를 미리 방지하도록 한 버스안전운행 지원시스템에 관한 것으로서, 버스에 장착되어 차량 운행 정보를 저장하는 차량 운행 기록부, 카메라를 이용하여 획득한 차량 전방의 영상을 저장하는 영상 기록 장치, 차량 운행 기록부의 차량 운행 정보와 카메라로 촬영한 차량 전방의 영상 정보를 이용하여 전방 추돌 위험을 판별하고, 전방 추돌 위험 상황으로 판별이 되면 추돌 경고 신호를 발생하는 전방추돌 경고부 및 차량 정보를 획득하고, 획득한 차량 정보를 분석하여 사고 유무를 판단하며, 사고로 판단이 되면 사고 정보를 관제 센터 및 동일 노선의 다른 버스 운전자 단말기에 전송하는 운전자 단말기를 포함하여, 버스안전운행 지원시스템을 구현한다.
