Disclosed is a rubber composition for tire tread. The rubber composition for tire tread according to the present invention comprises raw material rubber and 50-120 parts by weight of precipitated silica with respect to 100 parts by weight of the raw material rubber, wherein the precipitated silica is surface-modified with 0.005-0.15 parts by weight of a processing aid represented by chemical formula 1. Accordingly, the rubber composition for tire tread according to the present invention, while applying a reinforcement material with a high surface area, can maintain viscosity, and thus can enable a smooth mixing process; enables a long-term storage of rubber by prevention of re-coagulation of the reinforcement material; and can improve tensile characteristics, rolling resistance, braking power on wet road surfaces (wet characteristics), abrasion characteristics, and handling characteristics without degrading the polymer properties by directly bonding to the reinforcement material with a high surface area.

    본 발명은 타이어 트레드용 고무조성물을 개시한다. 본 발명에 따르는 타이어 트레이드용 고무조성물은 원료고무와 상기 원료고무 100 중량부에 대하여 침강실리카 50 내지 120 중량부를 포함하며, 상기 침강실리카는 그 0.005 내지 0.15의 중량비로 하기 화학식 1로 표현되는 공정조제로 표면개질되는 것을 특징으로 하는데, 이에 의할 때, 높은 표면적의 보강재 적용을 하면서도 점도를 유지하여 배합공정을 원할하게 할 수 있으며, 보강재의 재응집 방지로 고무의 장기보관이 용이하며, 높은 표면적의 보강재에 직접 결합시켜 Polymer 물성을 하락시키지 않고 인장특성, 회전저항, 젖은노면 제동(Wet 특성), 마모특성, 조정성(handling 특성)을 향상시킬 수 있다.
