The present invention relates to a system and a method for controlling brightness of vehicle glass, wherein the system comprises: an illuminance detection unit individually installed in a plurality of positions of a vehicle to detect illuminance of the installation positions and output a voltage value corresponding to the detected illuminance; a brightness control unit individually provided in each of a plurality of vehicle glass mounted on the vehicle to determine brightness, wherein the brightness is changed in accordance with voltage applied from the outside; and a control unit determining at least one vehicle glass of which intensity of light is relatively high by comparing voltage values of the positions outputted from the illuminance detection unit, and controlling the brightness control unit for brightness of the vehicle glass to be darken. Therefore, brightness of vehicle glass placed in a direction in which a brightness degree outside a vehicle and intensity of light are strong can be controlled.

    본 발명은 차량 글라스의 명암 조절시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 차량의 복수 위치에 각각 설치되어 그 설치 위치의 조도를 감지하고 감지된 조도에 대응하는 전압값을 출력하는 조도 감지부와, 차량에 탑재된 복수의 차량 글라스에 각각 구비되어 명암을 결정하되 외부의 인가전압에 따라 명암이 변화하는 명암 조절부 및, 조도 감지부로부터 출력되는 복수 위치의 전압값을 비교하여 외부에서 가해지는 빛의 세기가 상대적으로 높은 적어도 하나의 차량 글라스를 판정하고 그 차량 글라스의 명암이 어두워지도록 명암 조절부를 제어하는 제어부를 구비하므로, 차량 외부의 밝은 정도와 빛의 세기가 강한 방향에 위치한 차량 글라스의 명암을 조절할 수 있다.
