A disclosed invention relates to a method for managing a vehicle battery and a vehicle thereof. The vehicle can comprise: a battery connected to a charging device to be charged and discharged; and a control part which charges the battery by distributing the charging current of the battery in a highest priority if the charging current of the battery is smaller than a consumed current when charging the battery, and distributes the consumed current after a state of charge (SOC) of the battery reaches a target charging level.
