Disclosed is a method which predicts a route of a surrounding vehicle by using learning data based on a machine learning algorithm. The method for predicting a route of a surrounding vehicle comprises the steps of: obtaining driving information on a surrounding vehicle and information on a road where the surrounding vehicle drives; and predicting whether the surrounding vehicle makes a lane change in accordance with the driving information and information on the road by using learning data and predicting a route of the surrounding vehicle which makes a lane change. The learning data relates to data which has learned driving information of sample vehicles and candidate route information on a road on which the sample vehicles drive.

    기계 학습 알고리즘에 기반한 학습 데이터를 이용하여 주변 차량의 이동 경로를 예측하는 방법이 개시된다. 개시된 주변 차량의 이동 경로 예측 방법은, 주변 차량의 주행 정보 및 상기 주변 차량이 주행하는 도로 정보를 획득하는 단계; 및 학습 데이터를 이용하여, 상기 주행 정보 및 상기 도로 정보에 따른 상기 주변 차량의 차선 변경 여부를 예측하고, 차선을 변경하는 주변 차량의 이동 경로를 예측하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 학습 데이터는, 샘플 차량들의 주행 정보 및 상기 샘플 차량들이 주행하는 도로 정보에 대한 후보 이동 경로가 학습된 데이터이다.
