The present invention relates to a public transportation travel time prediction system using big data, capable of providing more accurate travel time information to a public transportation user by linking the big data such as historical data of a bus that is public transportation, unexpected and weather information, real-time driving information and route characteristics, and promoting the convenience of the public transportation user by providing real-time travel time and prediction information of the bus through the provided information. The public transportation travel time prediction system using big data is implemented by including a data collection unit for making the big data by collecting information required for bus travel time prediction and a data processing unit for analyzing and processing the data collected in the data collection unit and calculating a bus travel time through real-time prediction.

    대중교통인 버스의 이력자료, 돌발 및 기상 정보, 실시간 운행 정보 및 노선 특성과 같은 빅데이터를 연계하여 대중교통 이용객에게 더욱 정확한 통행시간 정보를 제공하고, 이를 통해 버스 실시간 통행 소요시간 정보 및 예측정보를 제공해주어 대중교통 이용자의 편의성을 향상을 도모하도록 한 빅데이터를 활용한 대중교통 통행시간 예측시스템에 관한 것으로서, 버스 통행시간 예측 예보를 위해 필요한 정보를 수집하여 빅데이터화하는 데이터 수집부 및 상기 데이터 수집부에서 수집된 데이터를 분석 및 가공하고, 실시간 예측을 통해 버스 통행시간을 산출해 내는 데이터 처리부를 포함하여, 빅데이터를 활용한 대중교통 통행시간 예측시스템을 구현한다.
