The present invention relates to a system for predicting/forecasting a public transport transit time using big data which provides more accurate transit time information to a public transport user by linking big data such as history data of buses which are public transport, unexpected and weather information, real time driving information and route properties. Also, the present invention provides real time transit duration time information and prediction information to promote increase of convenience of the public transport user. The system for predicting/forecasting a public transport transit time using big data comprises: a data collecting part collecting information required for predicting and forecasting a bus transit time and converting the information into big data; and a data processing part analyzing and processing the data collected by the data collecting part and calculating the bus transit time through real time short term forecasting and mid-to-long term forecasting.

    대중교통인 버스의 이력자료, 돌발 및 기상 정보, 실시간 운행 정보 및 노선 특성과 같은 빅데이터를 연계하여 대중교통 이용객에게 더욱 정확한 통행시간 정보를 제공하고, 이를 통해 버스 실시간 통행 소요시간 정보 및 예측정보를 제공해주어 대중교통 이용자의 편의성을 향상을 도모하도록 한 빅데이터를 활용한 대중교통 통행시간 예측/예보시스템에 관한 것으로서, 버스 통행시간 예측 예보를 위해 필요한 정보를 수집하여 빅데이터화하는 데이터 수집부 및 상기 데이터 수집부에서 수집된 데이터를 분석 및 가공하고, 실시간 단기 예측 및 중장기 예측을 통해 버스 통행시간을 산출해 내는 데이터 처리부를 포함하여, 빅데이터를 활용한 대중교통 통행시간 예측/예보시스템을 구현한다.
