The present invention relates to a variable propeller and a vessel having the variable propeller. In the present invention, a slot is formed between a leading edge portion and a trailing portion when the propeller rotates at a high speed, and as a fluid flow flows into the slot, an ambient pressure is generally lowered to induce an increase in hydrostatic pressure, thereby relieving cavitation. Therefore, the present invention can prevent blade damage even when the propeller rotates at the high speed, prolong a service life, and realize stable and efficient propeller driving.

    본 발명은 가변형 프로펠러 및 그 가변형 프로펠러를 구비하는 선박에 관한 것으로, 프로펠러의 고속 회전시 리딩 에지 부분과 트레일링 부분 사이에 슬롯을 형성하여 그 슬롯 안으로 유체 유동이 유입됨에 따라 주위 유속이 전반적으로 저하되어 정수압 증가를 유도하여 캐비테이션 발생 조건을 완화함으로써, 프로펠러의 고속 회전시에도 블레이드 손상을 방지하여 사용수명을 연장하고, 안정적이고 효율적인 프로펠러 구동을 구현할 수 있다.
