The present invention relates to a dual fuel engine for a ship. The engine comprises: a cylinder; a piston reciprocating in the cylinder; an exhaust valve which discharges exhaust gas of the cylinder and which is coupled to the cylinder; and a control portion controlling the exhaust valve. According to the present invention, the control portion can delay the closing timing of the exhaust valve by predetermined time in a gas mode supplying gas fuel to the cylinder compared with a diesel mode supplying diesel fuel to the cylinder.

    본 발명은 실린더, 상기 실린더에서 왕복이동하는 피스톤, 상기 실린더에 결합되고 상기 실린더의 배기가스를 배출하는 배기밸브, 및 상기 배기밸브를 제어하는 제어부를 포함하고, 상기 제어부는 상기 실린더로 디젤연료를 공급하는 디젤모드 대비 상기 실린더로 가스연료를 공급하는 가스모드에서 상기 배기밸브의 폐쇄타이밍을 소정 시간 지연시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 선박용 이중연료엔진에 관한 것이다.
