The present invention relates to a method for controlling a switching frequency of an inverter. More specifically, the method is capable of securing an output of a vehicle and reducing a noise by monitoring motor temperature, coolant temperature, and the amount of coolant which affect a loss of a switching frequency during driving of the vehicle to control the switching frequency as a high frequency in normal driving and as a medium frequency or a low frequency if the inverter is used excessively or the inverter is used in a high temperature region. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises the steps of: monitoring the motor temperature, the coolant temperature, and the amount of coolant by a control unit of the vehicle when the vehicle starts; and varying the switching frequency of the inverter according to the motor temperature, the coolant temperature, and the amount of coolant which are monitored.

    본 발명은 인버터의 스위칭 주파수 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 상세하게는 차량의 주행 중 스위칭 주파수의 손실에 영향을 주는 모터의 온도, 냉각수 온도 및 냉각수량 등을 모니터링하여 일반 주행 시에는 스위칭 주파수를 고주파로 제어하고, 인버터의 사용이 과다하거나 고온 지역에서는 스위칭 주파수를 중주파 또는 저주파로 제어함으로써, 차량의 출력을 확보하고 소음도 개선할 수 있는 인버터의 스위칭 주파수 제어 방법을 제공한다. 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 인버터의 스위칭 주파수 제어 방법은 차량의 시동이 온 되면, 차량의 제어부가 모터의 온도, 냉각수 온도 및 냉각수량을 모니터링하는 단계 및 상기 모니터링된 모터의 온도, 냉각수 온도 및 냉각수량에 따라 인버터의 스위칭 주파수를 가변하는 단계를 포함한다.
