The present invention relates to a vehicle navigation device and a route calculation method thereof. The vehicle navigation device selects an intermediate meeting position where a general vehicle in which an emergency patient rides can meet an ambulance in an earliest time so that the emergency patient can receive emergency treatment as soon as possible. The vehicle navigation device comprises a measurement part, a wireless communication part, an intermediate meeting position calculation part, and an earliest time intermediate meeting position selection part.

    본 발명은 차량용 내비게이션 장치 및 차량용 내비게이션 장치의 경로 설정 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 응급 환자가 탑승한 일반 차량과 구급차가 가장 빨리 합류할 수 있는 중간 합류 위치를 선정하여 가장 빠른 시간에 응급 환자의 응급 처치를 가능하게 하는 차량용 내비게이션 장치 및 차량용 내비게이션 장치의 경로 설정 방법을 제공한다.
