Disclosed are a resistance reduction apparatus and a ship including the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the resistance reduction apparatus reduces resistance of a ship having a transom stern in which a stern inclination portion inclined downwards is formed in the front of a transom, and comprises: an added member installed in the transom stern to cover the stern inclination portion from below, gently extending in a front and rear direction more than the stern inclination portion, and having a through hole which water passes; and an opening and closing member opening and closing the through hole.

    저항저감장치 및 이를 포함하는 선박이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 저항저감장치는 트랜섬에서 전방으로 하향 경사진 선미 경사부가 형성된 트랜섬 선미를 가지는 선박의 저항을 저감하는 장치로서, 상기 선미 경사부를 아래에서 커버하도록 상기 트랜섬 선미에 설치되고, 상기 선미 경사부보다 완만하게 전후 방향으로 연장되며, 물이 통과하는 관통홀이 형성된 부가부재; 및 상기 관통홀을 개폐시키는 개폐 부재를 포함한다.
