A resistance reduction apparatus and a ship having the same are disclosed. The resistance reduction apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a balloon which is installed in a stern inclined part downward inclined forward in a transom to be inflated and covers a certain area of the stern inclined part from the rear end to the front of the stern inclined part; and a supply part which supplies fluid to the balloon, wherein the supply part supplies fluid to the balloon according to ship operation conditions to provide an additional transom in the bottom of the transom.

    저항 저감 장치 및 이를 포함하는 선박이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 저항 저감 장치는 트랜섬에서 전방으로 하향 경사진 선미 경사부에 팽창 가능하게 설치되고, 팽창상태에서 상기 선미 경사부의 후단에서 전방으로 일정 영역을 커버하는 벌룬; 및 상기 벌룬에 유체를 공급하는 공급부를 포함하고, 상기 공급부는 선박운항조건에 따라 상기 벌룬에 유체를 공급하여 상기 트랜섬 아래에 부가 트랜섬을 제공하는 제공한다.
