The present invention relates to a robot for cleaning solar panels and a method for controlling the same wherein the robot for cleaning a solar panel can automatically clean, in an unmanned manner, a plurality of power generation panels, while sequentially moving in accordance with predetermined flight information by using one cleaning unit capable of flight, and increase efficiency of power generation of the power generation panels. The robot for cleaning solar panels comprises: the cleaning unit which is mounted on one among the power generation panels for converting sunlight to electric energy and cleaning surfaces of the power generation panels in accordance with the predetermined cleaning information while moving in front, rear, left, and right directions on the power generation panels or rotating; a flight unit which lifts up and moves the cleaning unit in accordance with the predetermined flight information to enable the cleaning unit to be mounted on one among the power generation panels; and an operation control unit which controls operation of the cleaning unit and the flight unit.

    본 발명은 비행이 가능한 하나의 청소유닛을 이용하여 기설정된 비행정보에 따라 순차적으로 이동하면서 다수의 발전패널을 무인 자동화로 청소할 수 있고, 발전패널에서의 발전효율을 증대시킬 수 있는 태양광 패널 청소용 로봇과 태양광 패널 청소용 로봇의 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 태양광 패널 청소용 로봇은 태양광을 전기에너지로 변환하기 위한 다수의 발전패널 중 어느 하나에 안착되고, 발전패널에서 전진 이동, 후진 이동, 좌측 이동, 우측 이동 또는 회전 이동하면서 기설정된 청소정보에 따라 발전패널의 표면을 청소하는 청소유닛과, 청소유닛이 다수의 발전패널 중 어느 하나에 안착되도록 기설정된 비행정보에 따라 청소유닛을 부양 이동시키는 비행유닛 및 청소유닛의 동작과 비행유닛의 동작을 제어하는 동작제어유닛을 포함한다.
