According to the present invention, a method for controlling a lock-up clutch for an automatic transmission comprises: a step of sensing deployment of an accelerator in a control unit during coasting of a vehicle while a lock-up clutch is directly connected to the vehicle; a step of enabling hydraulic pressure of the lock-up clutch to be descended at set hydraulic pressure when the deployment of an accelerator is sensed; a step of enabling the hydraulic pressure of the lock-up clutch to be ascended at the hydraulic pressure depending on an improved map after the descending step; and a step of enabling the hydraulic pressure of the lock-up clutch to be recovered at the hydraulic pressure depending on the existing map after the ascending step. Therefore, the hydraulic pressure depending on the improved map is set to be larger than the hydraulic pressure depending on the existing map.

    본 기술의 자동변속기용 락업클러치 제어방법은 차량이 락업클러치가 직결된 상태로 타력주행 중인 경우, 제어부에서 액셀 전개를 감지하는 단계; 액셀 전개가 감지될 시, 락업클러치의 유압을 설정유압으로 강하시키는 단계; 강하단계 후, 락업클러치의 유압을 개선맵에 따른 유압으로 상승시키는 단계; 및 상승단계 후, 락업클러치의 유압을 기존맵에 따른 유압으로 회복시키는 단계;를 포함하고, 개선맵에 따른 유압은 기존맵에 따른 유압보다 크게 설정된 것을 특징으로 할 수 있다.
