The present invention relates to a method for controlling a time for conversion from a charge depleting (CD) mode to a charge sustaining mode (CS) mode when controlling a driving mode of a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. The present invention provides a method for controlling a driving mode of a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle: receives feedback on charge will from a driver by using final destination information of the driver and gas station information; and implements a new type driving mode variation control method of variably controlling a CD/CS mode conversion SOC by considering the destination and charge station information, thereby promoting fuel efficiency increase according to optimization of energy use efficiency.
본 발명은 플러그인 하이브리드 차량의 주행 모드 제어 시 CD 모드에서 CS 모드로 전환하는 시점을 제어하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 운전자의 최종 목적지 정보 및 충전소 정보를 이용하여 운전자에게 충전의지를 피드백받고, 이렇게 목적지 및 충전소 정보를 고려하여 CD/CS 모드 변환 SOC를 가변 제어하는 새로운 형태의 주행 모드 가변 제어방식을 구현함으로써, 에너지 이용 효율의 최적화에 따른 연비 향상을 도모할 수 있는 플러그인 하이브리드 차량의 주행 모드 제어방법을 제공한다.
