The present invention relates to an air conditioning system for an engine room in an arctic ship, which minimizes ice blockage to enable the smooth supply of circulation air required for an engine room even under cryogenic environment by forming an inlet of an air heating room for sucking external cryogenic air in a semi-closed air suction structure and forming a suction air heater in the inlet of the air heating room. Moreover, the present invention uses the external cryogenic air as air for combustion without a separate heating device as the air is directly sucked from an engine through an air suction duct.

    본 발명은 극지용 선박의 기관실 공조 시스템에 관한 것으로, 외부 극저온 에어를 흡입하기 위한 에어 히팅 룸의 입구가 세미 폐쇄의 에어 흡입 구조로 형성되고, 에어 히팅 룸의 입구측에 흡입 에어 히터가 구비됨으로써, 엔진 룸 내에 필요한 순환 에어를 극저온 환경에서도 아이스 블록케이지(ice blockage)를 최소화하여 원활하게 공급 가능하며, 엔진 전용으로 에어 흡입 덕트를 통해서 에어를 직접 흡입하므로, 극저온의 외기를 별도의 히팅 장치 없이 연소용 에어로 사용할 수 있다.
