A ship propulsion system comprises: an engine; a supercharger supplying supercharging air to the engine; an auxiliary blower supplying air to the engine; a first generator supplying electric power to the auxiliary blower in a first load area of an engine load range of the engine to be stopped in a second load area which is a range of a higher load than that of the first load area; and a power supply unit which is power supply different from the first generator, and supplies electric power generated by use in exhaust heat generated when operating the engine to the auxiliary blower in the second load area. According to the present invention, provided are a ship propulsion system and an operation method of a ship and the ship propulsion system, which can surely operate an auxiliary blower while restricting fuel consumption required for operation of the auxiliary blower when air is supplied to an engine by the auxiliary blower.

    선박 추진 시스템이며, 엔진과, 엔진에 과급 공기를 공급하는 과급기와, 엔진에 급기하는 보조 블로워와, 엔진의 엔진 부하의 범위 중 제1 부하 영역에서 보조 블로워에 전력을 공급하여, 제1 부하 영역보다도 고부하의 범위인 제2 부하 영역에서 정지하는 제1 발전기와, 제1 발전기와는 상이한 전원이며, 엔진의 구동 시에 발생하는 배열의 이용에 의해 생성된 전력을 제2 부하 영역에서 보조 블로워에 공급하는 급전 유닛을 구비하는 것이다.
