The present invention relates to a method for calculating the amount of regenerative braking for an eco-friendly vehicle, which can consider the status of a high-voltage part and a power conveying system and a change volume of the vehicle speed, for instance, a limitation in charging, a speed change step number, and deceleration, calculate the amount of regenerative braking for an eco-friendly vehicle, and improve fuel efficiency and operability. To this end, an embodiment of the present invention can comprise the steps of: determining the regenerative braking of the eco-friendly vehicle; during the regenerative braking of the eco-friendly vehicle, determining if there is a limitation in charging due to high-voltage parts including the battery and the motor of the eco-friendly vehicle; when there is a limitation in charging during the regenerative braking of the eco-friendly vehicle, calculating a base rpm of the motor according to the limitation in charging to classify the normal torque area and the normal power area of the motor based on the base rpm calculated; and determining whether the operation mode of the motor is a normal power mode, a normal torque mode, or a conversion mode according to the classified normal torque area or the normal power area to calculate the amount of regenerative braking based on the result of the determination.
본 발명은 고전압 부품 및 동력전달계의 상태, 차속의 변화량을 고려하여, 예를 들면 충전 제한, 변속 단수 및 감속도를 고려하여 친환경 자동차의 회생제동실행량을 산출하여 적용함으로써 연비 및 운전성을 향상시킬 수 있는 하는 친환경 자동차의 회생제동실행량 산출 방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위한 본 발명의 일실시예는, 친환경 자동차의 회생 제동을 판단하는 단계; 상기 친환경 자동차의 회생 제동 시, 상기 친환경 자동차의 배터리와 구동모터를 포함한 고전압 부품에 기인한 충전 제한 여부를 판단하는 단계; 상기 친환경 자동차의 회생 제동 시, 충전 제한 상태이면, 상기 충전 제한에 따른 구동모터의 베이스 속도(base rpm)를 산출하고, 산출된 베이스 속도에 기초하여 상기 구동모터의 정토크 영역과 정파워 영역을 구분하는 단계; 상기 구분된 정토크 영역 또는 정파워 영역에 따라 상기 구동모터의 동작모드가 정파워 모드 또는 정토크 모드 또는 변환 모드인지를 판단하여 판단 결과를 토대로 회생제동실행량을 산출하는 단계;를 포함할 수 있다.
