The present invention relates to an anti-sway device for a crane, optimized to hydraulically control a sway phenomenon in a gantry crane and an overhead crane. A crane includes a hook and a trolley including a hoist winding and unwinding the hook. The present invention comprises front and rear connecting bars placed in the front and rear parts of the hook; an anti-sway wire part including first and second wires, connected to right and left sides of the front connecting bar, and third and fourth wires, connected to right and left sides of the rear connecting bar; an anti-sway drum part including a first drum installed in the front left side of the trolley to wind and unwind the first wire, a second drum installed in the front right side of the trolley to wind and unwind the second wire, a third drum installed in the rear left side of the trolley to wind and unwind the third wire, and a fourth drum installed in the rear right side of the trolley to wind and unwind the fourth wire; and a control unit hydraulically controlling the anti-sway drum part, and including a first hydraulic line winding the anti-sway wire part when the hook is moved up and stopped, a second hydraulic line unwinding the anti-sway wire part when the hook is moved down, and a third hydraulic line winding and unwinding the anti-sway wire part depending on tension to the anti-sway wire part when the hook sways.
