본 발명은 친환경 차량에 사용되다가 회수된 차량용 폐배터리의 재생을 위하여 실행하는 폐배터리의 이상상태 검사방법에 관한 것으로서, N(N≥2)개의 배터리셀을 포함하는 폐배터리의 배터리모듈을 준비하고, 상기 배터리모듈의 기하학 구조, 색상, 패턴 중 적어도 하나에 기초하여, 상기 배터리모듈의 파손, 팽창, 변색 중 적어도 하나의 상태가 기 설정된 유효 범위 내에 포함되는지 판별하는 광학 검사의 지정된 절차를 수행하는 제1 단계와 상기 배터리모듈의 전원 단자와 연결되는 모듈 연결 단자를 통해 상기 배터리모듈의 내부 저항 검사를 수행하는 제2 단계와 상기 모듈 연결 단자를 통해 상기 배터리모듈을 스펙 상 완전 충전 전압까지 지정된 전류 비(Current Rate)에 따라 충전하는 제3 단계 및 상기 모듈 연결 단자를 통해 상기 충전된 배터리모듈을 스펙 상 완전 방전 전압까지 지정된 전류 비에 따라 방전하는 제4 단계를 포함하는 차량용 폐배터리의 이상상태 검사방법을 제공한다.

    The present invention relates to a method for inspecting an abnormal state of a waste battery performed for the recycling of a waste battery for a vehicle recovered after being used in an eco-friendly vehicle. The method for inspecting an abnormal state of a waste battery for a vehicle comprises: a first step of preparing a battery module of a waste battery including N battery cells and performing a designated procedure of an optical inspection for determining whether at least one of damage, swelling, and discoloration of the battery module is within a predetermined effective range, based on at least one of the geometric structure, color, and pattern of the battery module, wherein N is an integer of two or more; a second step of performing internal resistance inspection of the battery module through a module connection terminal connected to a power terminal of the battery module; a third step of charging the battery module through the module connection terminal up to a fully charged voltage according to the specifications depending on a specified current rate; and a fourth step of discharging the charged battery module through the module connection terminal up to a fully discharged voltage depending on a specified current ratio. Accordingly, the present invention has an advantage in providing a renewable battery that can guarantee safety against the risk of fire or explosion of the battery for a certain period or longer.
