The present invention provides a method of controlling a wireless charging system for an electric vehicle and an electronic device therefor, which control the position of a wireless power transmission part provided in an electronic device in response to the position of a wireless power reception part of an electric vehicle. According to various embodiments of the present invention, the method of controlling a wireless charging system for an electric vehicle comprises: (a) a step of determining that an electric vehicle is parked in a specific parking area among a plurality of parking areas; (b) a step of sequentially moving a wireless power transmission part connected to the electronic device in a first axis, a second axis, and a third axis direction, scanning a wireless power reception part of the electric vehicle, and moving the wireless power transmission part to a position at which power transmission efficiency is maximum as a result of the scanning; (c) a step of generating charging setting information of the electric vehicle for the wireless power transmission part based on user input; (d) a step of supplying power to the wireless power transmission part based on the charging setting information, and wirelessly charging the electric vehicle; and (e) a step of carrying out a payment based on a charging result when the wireless charging in accordance with the wireless charging setting information is completed.
