The present invention relates to a wireless power charging system for an electric vehicle and a wireless power charging method thereof, which can guide the movement of the electric vehicle so that an induction power receiving panel mounted on a lower part of the electric vehicle is accurately placed in the position of an induction power transmitting panel installed on the ground of a parking area during wireless power charging of the electric vehicle, and charges a battery by lifting the induction power transmitting panel installed on the ground to a distance optimized for the induction power receiving panel, thereby increasing the battery charging efficiency of the electric vehicle. The wireless power charging system for an electric vehicle for charging wireless power through the induction power receiving panel mounted on the lower part of the electric vehicle comprises: a sensing pad installed on the ground of the parking area to detect the position of the electric vehicle; the induction power transmitting panel installed on an upper part of the sensing pad and performing electromagnetic induction to the induction power receiving panel of the electric vehicle to charge the wireless power; and a control unit connected to the sensing pad and induction power transmitting panel.

    본 발명은 전기자동차용 무선전력 충전시스템 및 그에 따른 무선전력 충전방법에 관한 것으로, 전기자동차의 무선전력 충전 시 전기자동차의 하부에 장착된 유도전력 수신패널이 주차구역의 지면에 설치된 유도전력 송신패널의 위치에 정확하게 배치되도록 전기자동차의 이동을 안내하고, 지면에 설치된 유도전력 송신패널이 유도전력 수신패널에 최적화된 거리로 리프팅(Lifting)되어 배터리의 충전이 진행됨으로써 전기자동차의 배터리 충전 효율을 향상시킬 수 있는 전기자동차용 무선전력 충전시스템 및 그에 따른 무선전력 충전방법을 제공하기 위한 것으로서, 그 기술적 특징은, 전기자동차의 하부에 장착되는 유도전력 수신패널을 통하여 무선전력을 충전하기 위한 전기자동차용 무선전력 충전시스템에 있어서, 주차구역의 지면 상에 설치되어 전기자동차의 위치를 감지하는 감지패드; 감지패드의 상부에 설치되어 전기자동차의 유도전력 수신패널에 전자기를 유도하여 무선전력 충전하는 유도전력 송신패널; 및 감지패드와 유도전력 송신패널에 연결되는 제어부; 를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
