하이브리드 차량의 타력주행시 회생제동의 제어 장치 및 그 방법이 제공된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 하이브리드 차량의 타력주행시 회생제동의 제어 장치는 주행중인 차량의 차량정보, 지리정보를 포함하는 교통정보, 배터리정보 및 BSG(Belt driven Starter Generator)상태정보를 수집하는 정보수집부; 차량정보 및 교통정보를 기초로 타력주행(coasting)중 감속이 필요한지의 여부를 판단하고, 차량정보, 배터리정보 및 BSG상태정보를 기초로 회생제동의 진입 가능 여부를 판단하는 회생제동 판단부; 및 판단 결과에 따라 회생제동을 수행하고, 회생제동 종료 후 타력주행으로 복귀하도록 제어하는 회생제동 실행부;를 포함한다.

    A device for controlling regenerative braking during coasting of a hybrid vehicle and a method thereof are disclosed. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the device for controlling regenerative braking during coasting of a hybrid vehicle comprises: an information collecting unit for collecting information on a driving vehicle, traffic information including geographical information, battery information, and BSG (Belt driven Starter Generator) status information; a regenerative braking determination unit for determining whether or not deceleration is required during coasting based on the vehicle information and traffic information, and determining whether or not regenerative braking can be entered based on the vehicle information, battery information, and BSG status information; and a regenerative braking execution unit for performing regenerative braking in accordance with the result of determination and returning a vehicle to coasting after completion of regenerative braking.
