The present invention relates to a push-pull keypad electric vehicle charger, and a driving method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the push-pull keypad electric vehicle charger comprises: a main body unit proceeding user authentication or transactions through a keypad and an authentication unit for charging external commercial power to an electric vehicle; a charging connector connected to a charging port of the electric vehicle and providing the commercial power to the charging port when payment is finished; and a cable holder unit operated in a push-pull form for holding a cable connecting the main body unit and a plug connected to a socket providing the commercial power.

    본 발명은 푸시풀 키패드 전기차 충전기 및 그 충전기의 구동방법에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 푸시풀 키패드 전기차 충전기는, 전기차로 외부의 상용 전원을 충전하기 위하여 키패드와 인증부를 통해 사용자 인증 또는 결제를 진행시키는 본체부, 전기차의 충전구에 연결되며, 결제가 완료되면 상용 전원을 충전구로 제공하는 충전 커넥터, 및 상용 전원을 제공하는 콘센트에 연결되는 플러그와 본체부를 연결하는 케이블의 걸이를 위해 푸시풀 형태로 동작하는 케이블 걸이부를 포함할 수 있다.
