본 발명은 해양 환경 조건에서 연료 소모량이 최소인 선속을 최적 선속으로 결정하여 선박 운항에 적용시킴에 따라 연료 절감 효과를 기대할 수 있는 선박의 최적 선속 추정 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 선박의 운항 중 해상 환경을 계측하는 계측부; 및 상기 선박의 형상에 따라 풍하중 계수 및 파력에 의한 하중전달함수가 미리 설정되어 있으며, 상기 계측부로부터 계측된 해상 환경 조건에서 선속별 해당 선박이 받는 최종 저항값을 계산하고, 계산된 최종 저항값을 반영하여 단위 거리당 연료 소모량을 계산하여 계산된 연료소모량이 최소인 선속을 최적 선속으로 결정하는 선속 결정부를 포함하는, 선박의 최적 선속 추정 시스템이 제공된다.

    The present invention relates to a system and a method for estimating an optimal ship speed of a ship, which determine a ship speed having the minimum fuel consumption as an optimal ship speed in a marine environment condition to be possible to expect a fuel reduction effect in accordance of applying the same to ship sailing. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a system for estimating an optimal ship speed of a ship includes: a measuring unit measuring a marine environment during ship sailing; and a ship speed determining unit in which a load transfer function by wave force and a wind load coefficient in accordance with a shape of the ship is set in advance, which calculates a final resistance value received by the ship for each ship speed in the marine environment condition measured from the measuring unit, and which corresponds to the calculated final resistance value, calculates fuel consumption per a unit distance, and determines the calculated ship speed having the minimum fuel consumption as the optimal ship speed.
