An optimal navigation system for a ship is disclosed. According to the present invention, the optimal navigation system for a ship comprises: a propulsion engine which is connected to a propeller through a propulsion shaft to generate propulsion of the ship; a power transmission unit which is connected to the propulsion shaft and generates electric power using a part of the power supplied to the propeller from the propulsion engine; and a control unit which controls the interlocking or disengaging operation of the power transmission unit by comparing the current output state of the propulsion engine with the optimal output value calculated based on the specific fuel oil consumption (SFOC) of the propulsion engine. As the propulsion engine can be operated with optimal output, there is an effect of enabling optimal efficiency operation with minimum fuel consumption.
선박의 최적운항시스템이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 선박의 최적운항시스템은, 프로펠러와 추진축을 통해 연결되어 선박의 추진력을 발생시키는 추진엔진; 추진축에 연결되어 추진엔진으로부터 프로펠러로 공급되는 동력의 일부를 이용하여 전력을 생산하는 동력전달부; 및 추진엔진의 현재 출력 상태를 추진엔진의 최소 연료소비율(SFOC)을 기준으로 산정된 최적 출력 값과 비교하여 동력전달부의 연동 또는 연동해제 동작을 제어하는 제어부를 포함하여, 추진엔진이 최적 출력으로 동작이 가능함에 따라 최소의 연료소비율로 최적 효율 운항이 가능한 효과가 있다.
