본 발명은 차량 센서에 의해 획득된 정보를 기초로 운전자의 주행 패턴을 분석하고 이 주행 패턴을 기초로 항법 기기를 제어하여 항법 기기에 표시되는 지도 화면의 축척을 자동으로 변경시키는 차량용 항법 기기 제어 장치 및 방법을 제안한다. 본 발명에 따른 장치는 차량에 장착된 적어도 하나의 센서를 이용하여 감지 정보를 획득하는 감지 정보 획득부; 감지 정보를 기초로 차량의 주행 패턴을 산출하는 주행 패턴 산출부; 및 주행 패턴을 기초로 차량에 장착된 항법 기기를 제어하여 항법 기기에 표시되는 지도 화면의 축척을 자동으로 변경시키는 항법 기기 제어부를 포함한다.
The present invention proposes a navigation device controlling apparatus for a vehicle which analyzes a driving pattern of a driver based on information obtained by a vehicle sensor, and controls the navigation device based on the driving pattern to automatically change a scale of a map screen displayed on the navigation device. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a sensing information obtaining unit configured to obtain sensing information using at least one sensor mounted on a vehicle; a driving pattern calculating unit configured to calculate a driving pattern of the vehicle based on the sensing information; and a navigation device control unit configured to control the navigation device mounted on the vehicle based on the driving pattern to automatically change the scale of the map screen displayed on the navigation device.
