Provided are a device and method for monitoring based on a VR of a UAV for a non-visible autonomous flight. A grid map generation module generates a 3D three-dimensional grid map for an area where an unmanned aerial vehicle will fly in a virtual reality (VR) space, and enables a flight path calculation module to calculate a flight path based on the grids representing a mission performance point of the unmanned aerial vehicle among the grids constituting the 3D three-dimensional grid map, and a monitoring module may enable a flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle to be visualized in real-time in the VR space based on a photographed photographing image and the status information of the unmanned aerial vehicle while the unmanned aerial vehicle is flying along the flight path. Therefore, the present invention is capable of increasing a monitoring convenience and efficiency.

    비가시권 자율 비행을 위한 UAV의 VR 기반 모니터링 장치 및 방법이 제공된다. 격자지도 생성 모듈은 가상현실(VR: Virtual Reality) 공간에서 무인 비행체가 비행할 지역에 대한 3D 입체격자지도를 생성하고, 비행 경로 산정 모듈은 3D 입체격자지도를 이루는 격자들 중 상기 무인 비행체의 임무 수행 지점을 나타내는 격자들을 기준으로 비행 경로를 산정하고, 모니터링 모듈은 무인 비행체가 비행 경로를 따라 비행하는 동안 촬영한 촬영 영상과 무인 비행체의 상태정보를 기반으로 무인 비행체의 비행을 VR 공간에서 실시간 가시화할 수 있다.
